another hunter.

and marked “EXEMPT” may only be used by or
transferred to another exempt hunter.
- THE SELLING OR PURCHASING
OF ANY QUOTA HUNT PERMIT IS

PHASE I – June 1 thru

The Phase I application period
consists of two random drawings – Preference and
Non-preference. All applicants that apply between 10:00
a.m. (Eastern time), on June 1st and 11:59 p.m. (Eastern
Time), on June 11th will be included in one of these two
drawings.
Applications may be submitted at any license agent,
county tax collector’s office or thru the Internet at
www.MyFWC.com.
Customers are limited to one application per customer
and one permit per customer during this phase. All
applicants will receive either a Quota Hunt Permit
or a Rejection Notice prior to August 1 and
the drawing results will be posted on our web site at
www.MyFWC.com. Applicants who receive a Rejection
Notice during Phase I will be eligible for the
Preference Drawing next year even if they obtain a permit during
Phase II or Phase III.
Preference Drawing - Applicants that
applied in Phase I last year and were not issued a
permit are given a preference and are included in the first drawing
(Preference Drawing) this year. If you are eligible for
the Preference Drawing, your customer record in the Total Licensing
System is marked with a preference indicator. Upon
submission of an application, you will automatically be included in
this drawing. The receipt that you receive at the time
you apply will indicate “Preference Drawing – Yes ” if you are
eligible.
Non-preference Drawing - All other
Phase I applicants who are not eligible for the
preference drawing will be included in the second drawing.
Groups – Up to five hunters may
apply as a group. If selected, each member of the group
will receive a permit for the same hunt. You are not required to hunt
together. If you wish to apply as a group, the leader
must indicate so at the time they apply for their quota hunt permits. The
group leader will receive a Group Number to
provide to all group members in order for them to join the group when they
apply. If the leader has a preference from the previous
year, they also have the option to establish the group as a Preference
Group or Non-Preference Group. If the group is set up as
a Preference Group, the TLS will not allow members that are not
eligible for the Preference Drawing to join the group.
Antlerless Deer Permits – A limited
number of Antlerless Deer Permits may be available for
selected Hunts. Applicants may request to be included in the
Antlerless Deer Permit drawing when they submit their
Quota Hunt application. Only applicants that (1) apply during Phase
I, (2) indicate that they want to be included in the
drawing and (3) receive a Quota Hunt Permit will be eligible to be
included in the drawing. Members of a group compete
individually in the Antlerless Deer Permit drawing. The Hunts that offered
Antlerless Deer Permits last year are indicated by an
asterisk (*) beside the Hunt Number. Antlerless Deer Permits will be
mailed in September.
All exempt hunters who want to apply
for Antlerless Deer Permits must do so by completing the
Worksheet and applying thru the TLS. Your receipt will indicate
that you will be eligible to be included in the
